The Society's Thrift Stores

The Society Thrift Stores play an important role in providing assistance to those in need. Through a staff of employees and volunteers we work to collect, evaluate and merchandise a variety of donated goods. This merchandise provides a low cost shopping alternative of quality goods to low income individuals and families. Those who cannot afford the clothing, furniture and other household items are provided for through a Vincentian initiated referral system.

Serving Christ's needy is the first purpose of all St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores. To insure the long-term continuity of the stores, sound business practices are utilized. Surplus funds from the Store operation are used to assist the Society by offsetting the expenses of other programs of assistance provided by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to help needy individuals and families.

The Billings District Council has two stores to serve you. Each store recycles your donated items for reuse in the community.

Donations

Donations of clothing, furniture, or any resalable item, that help us to assist those in need are gratefully accepted. To schedule a pick-up time for your donations please call 252-1855.

Please Note: Some items have to be discarded because they are unusable and can not be reused. This type of donation only increases our expenses due to disposal fees.
